Jan Savinko’s passion for rock music began early in life. At the age of 14, he received his first guitar as a birthday gift from his father—a moment that sparked a lifelong journey in music. He quickly immersed himself in learning to play and later formed his first rock band Fomalgaut with his best friend, blending creativity with dedication. He was performing and writing music but his biggest dream to open store at that time
Jan’s love for musical instruments only grew stronger over the years. Driven by a dream to create a space where musicians could find inspiration, gear, and support, he set out to bring that vision to life. In 2018, he founded Octavix Studio in South Florida—a guitar store and recording space built by musicians, for musicians. Today, Jan leads the studio with the same passion that started it all, helping artists shape their sound and pursue their musical goals.

Jan’s connection to music began at an early age. At just 14 years old, he received his very first guitar as a birthday gift from his father. That gift wasn’t just a new hobby—it was the beginning of a lifelong obsession with rock music, guitars, and live performance. Fueled by his love of sound and the energy of rock, Jan dedicated himself to learning, experimenting, and growing as a musician.
Soon after, he formed his first band, Fомальгаут , with his best friend. Their collaboration gave Jan his first taste of the creative spark that comes from writing and performing original music. From late-night rehearsals to early gigs, Jan dove headfirst into the musician’s life—always dreaming bigger, always pushing toward the next goal.
From Musician to Music Entrepreneur
Though performing and writing were central to Jan’s identity, he always had a vision that extended beyond the stage. His ultimate dream? To open a store that would serve as a haven for musicians—a place where artists could discover the right gear, get inspired, and connect with others who shared their love of music.
After years of performing, learning, and refining his vision, that dream came true. In 2018, Jan launched Octavix Studio in South Florida. More than just a guitar shop, Octavix Studio was designed from the ground up by musicians, for musicians.
